Performance Enhanced Rice & Pea
Protein Powder
With 25 grams of protein per serving, Nutribody Protein® is an all natural, high protein powder shake formula. It has an optimized amino acid profile for maximum bioavailability with enhanced digestion factors. Made from a pure blend of vegan, organic brown rice protein and Non-GMO yellow pea protein. It's surprising sweet vanilla taste is something you can truly enjoy on a daily basis.
Nutribody Protein® is also enhanced with Citrulline Malate for full-blown muscle energy that allows you to train harder, work out longer, and speed up recovery time. It also increases increased nitric oxide production, reduces lactic acid and ammonia build up, and improves ATP and phosphocreatine recovery. We even added high oleic, monounsaturated, sunflower oil powder for maximum protein utilization.

Nutribody Protein® is unlike any protein supplement on the market. It is a non-soy, all vegetarian protein that has all the high protein benefits of a dairy/whey protein without the digestive side effects or cholesterol. It has all the natural health advantages of a soy protein, but Nutribody Protein®’s scientifically designed blend of rice and pea proteins offers a higher Protein Efficiency Ratio, no allergies, and will not disturb hormone balances. Then we added a clinically proven, highly effective amino acid, Citrulline Malate, to optimize circulation. The end result is not just another protein, but BioDigestible, nutrient-rich, high-performance, Nutribody Protein®.*

Key Ingredient Details
Organic Brown Rice Protein
Standard cooked rice has a protein content of only 5%-7%. To make concentrated rice protein, whole brown rice is first ground into a fine flour. Pure filtered water is then added, forming a thick slurry (called liquefaction). Natural enzymes are added in at different stages to break down and separate the carbohydrate and fiber from the protein portion of the whole grain. All processing temperatures are kept below 90° F to preserve all the natural enzymes. The low temperature and chemical free processing also prevents denaturing of the amino acids. The final stage involves filtering, drying and low temperature milling. The end product is 80% or higher in protein and unlike dairy, whey, soy, or egg proteins, is totally hypoallergenic. It is highly soluble and mixes easily into water, juice, or foods.
A study published in the British Journal of Nutrition suggests that diets high in rice protein can help protect against atherosclerosis by increasing blood levels of nitric oxide.
Rice protein taken alone is high in cysteine and methionine, but tends to be low in the essential amino acid lysine, which limits its bio-availability. We therefore opted to create a rice and pea protein blend.
Non-GMO Yellow Pea Protein
Pea protein is the concentrated natural protein fraction of yellow peas. As mentioned above, rice protein is high in cysteine and methionine, but tends to be low in lysine. Yellow pea protein, on the other hand, tends to be low in the sulfur containing amino acids, cysteine and methionine – but high in lysine. The bottom line is that when used in combination, rice protein and yellow pea protein offer a Protein Efficiency Ratio that begins to rival dairy and egg – but without their potential to promote allergic reactions. In addition, the texture of pea protein helps smooth out the “chalkiness” of rice protein. Like rice protein, it is hypoallergenic and easily digested.
But, don't let the sound of a pea protein make you think it will taste bad, yellow pea protein actually has little flavor. In consumer trials, Nutribody Protein® is noted as one of the best tasting proteins on the market!
Organic Stevia 97% RebA
Whether in dry-leaf or concentrate form, stevia has the wonderful ability to help the body regulate blood sugar. Several researchers have reported that, in these natural forms, stevia seems to correct both high and low blood sugar. Other scientists have stated that stevia appears to lower blood pressure, but does not seem to affect normal blood pressure.
Research has also demonstrated that stevia inhibits the growth and reproduction of harmful bacteria and other infectious organisms, including the bacteria that cause gum disease and tooth decay, and in many countries it is used in oral-hygiene products. The ability of stevia to destroy infectious organisms may help explain why stevia users report a lower incidence of colds and flu.
And Nutribody Protein® uses a special form of stevia that has no bitter aftertaste, a common complaint with many stevia sweetened foods.
Citrulline malate
Citrulline malate is a salt form of the amino acid L-citrulline. It supports the body in optimizing blood flow through its conversion to L-arginine and then nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is involved in vasodilatation, and low levels are associated with mental and physical fatigue and sexual dysfunction. The malate, or malic acid, which is combined with the citrulline is found in fruits such as apples and enhances the effects of citrulline.
Studies indicate that supplementation with citrulline malate may improve aerobic performance and capacity. Ingestion of citrulline malate resulted in a significant reduction in the sensation of fatigue, a 34% increase in the rate of oxidative ATP production during exercise, and a 20% increase in the rate of phosphocreatine recovery after exercise, indicating a larger contribution of oxidative ATP synthesis to energy production. Citrulline malate appears to work by influencing lactic acid metabolism and reducing fatigue. Studies in Europe, where citrulline malate has been used for over 20 years, demonstrate a marked reduction in mental and physical fatigue and exhaustion in geriatric and post-surgery patients. Laboratory studies with rats and microbes support the results seen in humans. Administering citrulline malate to animals demonstrates protection against acidosis and ammonia poisoning. In a microbial mode, malate accelerated the clearance of ammonium and citrulline facilitated lactate metabolism. The results suggest a synergistic action of the complex.
Supplementation of citrulline malate to humans has shown promising results. French researchers reported in several human studies that blood lactate concentrations were reduced and ammonia elimination was increased after physical exertion. Rapid recovery from physical effort correlated to the disappearance of lactate from blood after performance at a high level of acidosis suggesting an essential role in acid-base balance.
High Oleic, Monounsaturated, Sunflower OTP
Monounsaturated fat is considered to be one of the healthiest types of general fat. It has none of the adverse effects associated with saturated fats, trans-fats, or omega-6 polyunsaturated vegetable oils. Research shows that diets with healthy amounts of monounsaturated fats have a host of amazing health benefits, including decreased or lower risk of breast cancer, heart disease, stroke and even a reduction in stiffness and pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis. Additionally, studies have also shown that monounsaturated fats help reduce belly fat, increase weight loss, and promote proteins that induce the survival, development, and function of neurons.
